Breznik, Bulgaria – 09 May 2024 – The Pink Foundation unveiled its inaugural week-long Summer Olympic Games, set to take place in Breznik at Vasil Levski School from June 17th to 22nd. This exciting initiative marks a significant milestone in Pink’s ongoing commitment to empowering youth, encouraging children’s creativity, and fostering community engagement in Breznik.
The Pink Foundation will kick off the event with an opening ceremony announcing the teams and emphasizing teamwork and fair play throughout the week. The games will allow children to showcase their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. From traditional sprints and relays to creatively themed competitions such as frisbee throw and bean bag toss, participants will compete for the coveted medal prize, fostering healthy competition, personal growth, and camaraderie among peers.
The Director of the Vasil Levski School, Lina Simeonova, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “We are delighted to welcome Pink Foundation to Breznik for this innovative summer camp. This initiative not only enriches the educational experience of our students but also strengthens the bonds within our community.”

The games will conclude with a closing ceremony and an ice cream social, celebrating the children’s display of heart and vigor throughout the week. Best sportsmanship awards will also be given, honoring the qualities of good character that are required from participants in the Pink Program.
While the Pink Foundation has been actively involved in Breznik during the school term for the past two years, this marks their inaugural summer camp in the town, underscoring their commitment to providing year-round support and enrichment opportunities for the youth of Breznik.
