Tran, Bulgaria – 28 March 2024 – The Pink Foundation announced today a three-year partnership with the vibrant Gyurga Pindzhuova Community Center in Tran, Bulgaria, marking a pivotal moment in their shared commitment to children’s well-being and development.

This collaborative endeavor aims to cultivate a dynamic array of joint activities tailored to enrich the lives of children in Tran. Central to the agreement is Pink’s establishment of an office within the community center, fostering seamless coordination and amplifying the impact of their combined efforts.

Under the guidance of Ani Stanimirova, a longstanding member of the Pink Foundation team, a diverse range of initiatives is set to unfold. These include the establishment and management of Pink activities at the community center, including after school clubs such as the Art Workshop, Ceramics, Young Carpenters, and Jewelry Making for Fun and Profit. Pink will also contribute to renovation efforts of community center facilities and support its ongoing cultural programs.

Another highlight of the partnership is the renewal of the Tran Summer Games, a beloved tradition interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This eagerly anticipated week-long olympic style event not only fosters spirited competition but also cultivates a sense of camaraderie among the town’s youth.
Sashka Ilcheva Ivanova, Director of the Gyurga Pindzhuova Community Center, expressed profound enthusiasm for the collaboration, emphasizing its potential to significantly enhance support for the children of Tran. “Together, we can offer greater opportunities to nurture the well-being of our community’s children,” remarked Ivanova.

Bob Faber, Executive Director of the Pink Foundation, supported her remarks by emphisizing the organization’s deep connection to Tran, where its roots were first planted. “Tran holds a special place in our hearts,” Faber noted, “and we are thrilled to deepen our partnership with the community center, united in our mission to serve the children of this town.”

Through this partnership, the Pink Foundation and Gyurga Pindzhuova Community Center reaffirm their unwavering dedication to empowering children, fostering growth, and building a brighter future for Tran’s youngest residents.
